Wink Sharing is Caring!

I wanted to share this helpful info I got in an email this week with newbies and oldies alike!:) We can all benefit from it!

It is becoming increasingly popular for new pay per click search
engines to offer a bonus for signing up with them.

For example, OhSpot will put $50 into your account just for
creating an account.

If you are worried that your deposit will go untouched in a new
search engine, don't deposit any money, just look for one of
these engines that offer a free trial.

Dare I say that in most cases your bonus for signing up will stay
untouched for weeks, but what has it lost you? If you find that
one of them is actually bringing you traffic, it's a bonus,
because it's free!

If any of these new pay per click search engines know what
they're doing, it may even become semi-popular and you'll already
have listings there.

Here are just some of the pay per click search engines that are
offering such bonuses:

B2BSearch $100 - http://b2bsearch.tv
eTRiT $100 - http://etrit.com
OhSpot $50 - http://ohspot.com
Ban-x $25 - http://ban-x.com
BBFind $25 - http://bbfind.com
4PortalSites.com $10 - http://4portalsites.com
CashDream $10 - http://cashdream.com
a1max.com $5 - http://PayPerc.com/a1max/
Bluemacs $5 - http://www.bluemacs.com

ENJOY..............AND MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!

That's a bunch I didn't have yet!

Add this one to the list:

Searchqueen $25.00 http://www.searchqueen.com/

This one gives you 10 cents for each person you send to look at the site, but no initial stake:

Well, I had to look this thread up again to help someone and I found a couple more to add to the list since I last saw it.

Seek Spider $10.00 - http://www.seekspider.com/advertise.html
MoreClickThrus $20.00 - http://www.moreclickthrus.com/cgi/se...?action=Create

These are all good places to learn!

Thanks for sharing everybody.

Here is another one that everyone can benefit from. Knowz.com is giving away $1,000 bidding accounts if you place their search box on your website.

I have signed up for 10 of these PPC sites since this morning. Some offering $25 and some offering $50. And one actually is giving away a $200 bonus on top of the $50 for signing up if you put their search box on your site. My question? is anyone getting any sign ups through these. When I first started using PPC a year ago I signed up with searchspider ad directhit2000. I still have my initial deposit sitting in those accounts over a year later.
I know these sites are all FREE to join but I'm curious if anyone is getting any results. I guess I will soon find out.

PPC SE or Pay Per Click Search Engine is a term used to describe an internet search engine that lists results based on the amount each advertiser will pay the PPC when someone either clicks on the ad (we advise caution with these) or clicks through to your site (we recommend these).

Some will also have results that follow paid listing from their other advertisers and from sites that are listed for free. Some have spiders to find and list sites that are relevant to searches that users make. These sites also follow the paid listings.

One advantage is that the sites that bid for a listing are seen by some searchers as more professional or more serious. Another is that you are given control over your ad budget. Still another is the chance to put your message directly in front of interested people.

One of the most difficult things to get right is bidding just enough for great results and not overspending.

Good luck!

I am signed up with 22, 2 of which had discontinued their free signup bonus before I got there. I am getting a few clicks.

These are mostly startups that are building thier advertiser base and trying to build traffic. I find them very good for training, but weak on traffic.

There is one exception, SearchBidder. They claim to count only unique visitors each day and claim extensive fraud prevention. They also do not show stats beyond 2001.

My problem is that my account shows this:

Day # clicks Cost
2002-01-01 1 0.02
2002-01-02 6 0.18
2002-01-03 50 1.49
2002-01-04 36 1.08
2002-01-05 35 1.05
2002-01-06 36 1.08
January total: 164 4.90
Grand total: 169 4.99

That brings my account down to 1 cent.

I wrote to them to find out about why the numbers jumped up and were so very similar from day to day and tell them I need to have stats for this year before I will consider funding any more searches.

Thank Elmarc for the information. I was going to try it, but I think I will pass. Seems like too much of a headache for me.

I think some of them are really good, even when they are free. I just found one two days ago that gave me $10 to start, and I got one sign-up on the first hit yesterday, and another sign-up today. Total cost - $1.25 on 11 clicks.

Those good PPCs are out there, just have to find them :) I found mine :)

All these PPCs

Hmmmm... just thinking - are these PPC now inundated with
SFI affiliates? ;)

That's the problem really - there are so many of us going for the
same places.

What can we do about this? Am I wrong?

That is why I am pushing more and more effort towards offline
advertising.

What are other peoples thoughts on this?

I don't think it causes that much of a problem.

I am using both offline and online advertising.
I don't necessarily feel that a large number of SFI advertisers on a site makes it unviable. I currently advertise on one of the more popular ppc sites that is heavily covered with SFI ads and have still managed to add 8 new affiliates from that site in the last month. The trick is to be creative and make your ad more interesting, still using approved SFI ad materials simply by moving things around.
If you poke around the dboard you will find a list of 100 SFI approved headlines that can be used as well.

Read Troy Cox' advice in this thread for more on bidding.

This will take you to the Wayback Machine, so you will need to use your back button to return here or open the link in a new window and close it when you are done.

PPC are very effective

I've been active in SFI since August 2002 and I added 220 affiliates to my group since then - all of them through PPCs. I have been using findwhat.com (min $25.-) and 7search.com (min 25.- to start).

While I am totally amazed at these results, I am now reading about all these other PPCs you guys have been listing. I will check them out...and watch out...here we go! (by the way www.win4win.com promises to yield good results....I just signed up today).

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE! :)

Question Pay per click

How much are people biding on these pay per click sites? If you bid more do you go to the top of the list? I am getting 500 leads from Net profit Leads for $29.95 a month. I started with these leads september 23 2003. I am sending emails. If I don't get a good respone with emails, I will try direct mail followed by telephone scripts. So far I have not had any response.

Bids range anywhere from $0.001 to several dollars per click. Your ad's placement will depend on how much you bid.

Read more of the threads here that address the bidding process and costs for advice on how to keep your costs reasonable. Most of the time, $0.10 to $0.20 seems to be an effective upper limit for a reasonable bid.

Hi guys i just signed up about 2-3 weeks ago and I'm currently having problems advertising. Lucky for the Board, most of my problems were solved. No results yet though, but I'm sure it'll come in. Anyways, just wonder if you guys heard of this PPC - kanoodle.com. Heard it was quite popular and when i signed up for it i genenrated quite a few hits but no sales nor sign-ups. Just wondering, if it is so popular why isnt it mentioned here? Just wanna make sure unique hits are sent. Anyways, I love the DBoard. It's the best place to clear any doubts!

It is free to use until your free funds run out and whether or not more money is added to your account is totally up to you.

My advice make sure that you have them keycoded so that you know if they are worth the time and money once your "free cash" runs out.

There have been about a handful, if that, that I have continued to use after signing up for the free cash to use.

Use the free ones that has been mentioned before in this thread as your own personal training for ppc's.

During this training time you could very well possibly get some sign ups (I have one that came from this that is EA and has been for several months and also has referred a couple people of his own, some of the others I have had come in through the "free ppc's" have referred others, some have completed smart start).

Never ever understimate any form of advertising.

Just because these forms of advertising don't work for some, this doesn't mean that they won't work for you or anyone else.

Advertising on the internet is 90% trial and error.

Lightbulb The Risk Involved In PPC

Ok Ok, All you listed some PPC sites. Thanx for the good work... BUT

I have to say something about new PPC sites.

Some “GET Paid To Click” programs promote these PPC sites. Such GPTC sites will send search links to their members. And those members will search something using some keywords even though they are not interested on that. But they will get paid 50% of bided amount just for clicking! So most of the time you'll get fake traffic only.
However you can join Free to join PPC sites and enjoy the sign-up bonus! If you think it works then you can add funds.

I appreciate more relevant comments on this issue.

Be Crazyy!

That is why you should always track where your sign-up's are coming from.

That way you will easily identify which of them are paying people to click your adverts well before you start spending your own cash (if you stick to the ones that offer credit on sign-up). Those ones will get lots of clicks and few sign-up's. The worthwhile ones will have a far better conversion ratio.

Hi, Pressureman,

Yu can also "cloak" your Gateway URL by using one of the redirect sites, like Tiny URL. You can find them at the Team Resource Center. Look at the bottom of this page for the link to the Team Resource Center.

As has been said before, the specific PPC's that give you a free trial are constantly changing. Some are ceasing to be, some new ones are being started. This site still does a very good job of tracking the PPC's and their offers: http://www.payperclicksearchengines.com.

The collected advice in this thread still applies.

I'm reading on PPC

I have a general interest in this subject.
I've noticed there hasn't been any new postings on this subject.
The post previous to this one has a link which still works.
It has some very interesting reading.
Very Informative especially if you are planning on starting a campaign.

Sharing Is Caring

Hi,

I am new here, first time. I have been doing a lot wrong these past few months and have some updated information to help me and I saw this. I have been apprehensive to use PPC and reading this I will do some time looking these sites up and find out what I can do. Thanks much. I guess we all get brave now and then to try something new.
I do have some affiliates assigned from the EyeEarn program but have not been successful in getting any responses yet will keep trying..:)

With regard to PPC, know what you're doing before you do it! It can become EXPENSIVE in a hurry!

Ppc

Yes, doing a lot of reading regarding ppc.
Aware of the risks, not taking any chances yet.

Sure am tempted to make a run for it, but so far just running ads on free classified etc.

Yup

I agree with moderator bralland. With PPC you have to really know what you are doing and also watch it like a hawk (like hourly) or you will wind up burning lots of money fast without worthwhile results.
